Name:
"Wendells Brother"
Wendell wanted me to do a review for both Cloning Clyde and Frogger which released for Xbox Live Arcade(XLA) in the last two weeks. So here I go...
Frogger is the old game with slightly better graphics than the original, which was released 25 years ago. Same great game play and it still looks mostly the same, but with a higher pixel count. So the Skull and cross bones actually look like a skull and cross bones and not just a blotch on your screen. Other than that, it's the same old game and it's loads of fun. XLA is going to be releasing several retro games in the next coming weeks.
On the other hand, we have Cloning Clyde which is a brand new game by Ninjabees. I personally believe that this is part of a grander scheme of things. Perhaps even an Alternative Reality Game(ARG). ARGs are where you take a bit of one thing and a bit of another mix it with some online stuff for a bigger picture or game. ilovebees.com is a good example. But enough of that. Cloning Clyde is a puzzle solving game in which you play as Clyde, a cloned to retardation character. You have to jump and pull levels to open doors and such. It's an ok puzzle game. If I didn't believe it wasn't more than meets the eye, I probably wouldn't have spent my microsoft points on it, but it's still fun and a few of the levels were quite challenging.
I hope that's what you wanted Wendell. If not, too bad. And umm...Go Frogs?
